Toby Tobias has been with Rekids since its inception in 2006. His initial release on Rekids, ‘A Close Shave’, was a great hit and went some way in establishing the label as a fresh, eclectic musical venture in its early days. Prior to this, Toby had of course already been honing his production skills since the turn of the millennium.
By the time he released on Rekids, Toby’s work was already of a high calibre – seeing releases on Low Pressings, Bearfunk, Odori and Hi-Phen. After the tremendous success of ‘A Close Shave’, the remix requests started to flood in – this resulting in Toby releasing on labels such as Beat Freeze Records, Bent, Bloop Recordings and Dialect Recordings…
